Verdun Elementary

The Suspicious Fish After School Writing Program, in its 3rd year, will be holding a public reading next Wednesday June 10th at 6:30 in the Verdun Elementary auditorium.

The reading corresponds with the long-awaited book release of their new anthology of stories that have been produced over the course of this school year and they’re anxious to share tales of hard-luck-kids with unibrows, aliens, dragons, clowns, Jello, and…well, you’ll just have to come by and be blown away by what the authors have managed to conjure up this past year.

There will be snacks and an opportunity to mingle with the young stars as well as a chance to purchase a copy of the book which will cost ten dollars each. Proceeds from the book sales will go towards funding for next year’s program.
