A Family Day at Arthur-Therrien Park
On Sunday June 8, from noon to 4 p.m., an entertaining Family Day will be taking place at Arthur-Therrien Park (3750, boulevard Gaétan-Laberge), near the Verdun Auditorium (4110, boulevard LaSalle). The event is presented by the Verdun Family Roundtable.
Starting at noon, there will be fun things to do such as participating in an arts and crafts workshop and exploring an outdoor trail. There will also be free snacks for everyone. Besides being a chance to spend some time with members of the family, participants will enjoy two live shows presented on the outdoor stage. At 1 p.m., 3-to-8-year-olds will be delighted to meet members of La Simagrée theatre company, presenting, in French, their successful puppet show entitled « le Lapin qui voulait être roi”. To add to this festive Family Day, at 3 p.m the seven-piece band Kaoba will be sharing with us. the magic of Latin music performed live!
