Super Bingo on Thursday May 1st 2008 at 7 pm. In the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes church’s hall, located 600, 4th avenue, corner of Verdun. Doors will open at 5 pm. Price starts at $12.

April 27/08, Sunday : Annual Ypres Parade & Service. The Hall will be open at 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm. The Cenotaph Service takes place at 2:00 pm, followed by a short March. Members that are participating are to wear legion dress uniform

& medals to be worn. OPEN HOUSE after the parade music by Duo Rockin. All are welcome to come!! Saturday night dances there will be no bands for Apr. 19 & 26/08.

Saturday April 26th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m : Craft Supply Sale, wool, buttons,thread, needles, books etc. Light lunch served. The church is located at 4322 Wellington St.

South West Mission (United Church of Canada) are holding a spring rummage sale from April 21 to May 2 – Monday to Friday – 10:00 am– 3:00 pm. The Carrefour interculturel de Verdun, in collaboration with the ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés culturelles, offers free French courses for immigrants living in Canada for less than 5 years. Registrations are by appointment only and the spring session starts on April 7 and ends on June 18 (daytime and evening schedule). Possibility of a financial aid for daycare.
