St. Thomas More Women’s Club will be holding their annual card party & O.K.O. in the parrish hall, 978 Moffat Ave, on Wednesday, April 16th, at 12 noon. Admission is $5.00 per person and refreshments will be served at noon. Please, bring your own cards. An early bird prize will be drawn at 12:30 sharp. Men are most welcome.

South West Mission (United Church of Canada) are holding a spring rummage sale from April 21 to May 2 – Monday to Friday – 10:00 am– 3:00 pm. The Misson is located in the Verdun Elementary school, Melrose and Verdun ave. Entrance – Clothes for everyone – white elephant and tea room. Please come and see us!

The Carrefour interculturel de Verdun, in collaboration with the ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés culturelles, offers free French courses for immigrants living in Canada for less than 5 years. Registrations are by appointment only and the spring session starts on April 7 and ends on June 18 (daytime and evening schedule). Possibility of a financial aid for daycare.
