An extraordinary tour of the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg
This will be the third film of the season to be featured in the Movies on tour series. The Hermitage Dwellers will be presented in this original Russian version with English subtitles at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday November 28th at Centre communautaire Elgar (260 Elgar)
Produced by Moscow native Aliona van der Horst, this film takes its viewers to the hallways of the impressive St. Petersburg Musuem. An extraordinary tour guided by a few of the employees of this museum, whose destiny is linked to this mythical place. In addition to sharing their passionate view of art and the Hermitage, which was formerly the Czar’s winter palace, these employees bear witness to the history of the 20th century in Russia.
