The Quebec Breakfast Club, which will serve no less than 2 million breakfasts this year, treated the students to a breakfast served by some major sports stars. Alouette players Uzooma Okeke, Paul Lambert, and Shaun Diner, along with cheerleaders Caroline Lacombe and Marie-Eve Sauvé were on hand to serve the children and brighten their day, and taking time to chat with the kids and giving out autographed cards.

BEURLING ACADEMY
Yesterday, it was time to go for 20 students and their teachers from Saskatchewan as they said farewell to their BA hosts at the school. After a week of visiting many of the city’s tourist sights and being welcomed enthusiastically at the school this past Wednesday, it was a week in which students from both schools will remember for a long time and provide a lifetime of memories and hopefully long distance friendships. We salute Beurling Academy and Kerrobert Composite School on their Youth Exchange.
SPORTS UPDATE. All of the girls’ badminton teams were in action the previous week. The midget team won two straight to bring their record to 4 and 1 by defeating Queen of Angels and Howard S. Billings, and this should put them in playoff action. The bantam and juvenile teams, even though they lost their matches, continue to show improvement by scoring points in their matches. All teams were off this past week, and the midget and juvenile teams finish off their seasons at Lakeside Monday night. HAVE A GREAT WEEK.
