The waterfront, bike paths and green space clean-up is now in its sixteenth successful year. Members of the Verdun Borough council, Verdun MNA Mr. Henri-François Gautrin and Comité d’embellissement Verdun are happy to invite all residents to participate to this annual cleaning project, on May 5.
On mainland, the meeting place is the Muncipal Greenhouses (7000, LaSalle Blvd) at 8: 30 a.m. On the island, participants meet at 9: 30 a.m. at Centre communautaire Elgar (260, Elgar street). The first 500 participants who will show up on the day of the event will receive a free t–shirt. A lunch will be served to all the participants. The activity takes place rain or shine and should end at approximately 1 p.m.
Taking part in this spring cleaning blitz gives Mother Nature a helping hand. Join hundreds of volunteers who, each year, share this team effort for a worthy cause.
