List of candidates and advance voting
Here is the definite list of candidates, who submitted their candidacy by the authorized deadline, for the Verdun riding; a riding that has the largest number of candidates in the province for the March 26th elections.
Advance voting
Once available to election workers and people who were away during elections, advance voting is now made available to a larger number of people. The offices for advance voting will be open on Sunday, March 18 and Monday, March 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations: Elgar Centre (260 Elgar) on L'Ile-des-Soeurs, the Centre Marcel-Giroux (4501 Bannantyne) and the Centre culturel de Verdun (5955 Bannantyne). You must present a valid ID, such as a driver's license or a Medicare card, a passport, etc.
The vast majority of voters will be exercising their right to vote on Monday, March 26, from 9:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. You should present yourself to the appropriate electoral office, assigned to you based on your residential address. If in doubt about where to go, you can call the Verdun electoral officer, at 514-761-4884. Director Ronald Mimeault and his team will be happy to help you. Mr. Mimeault's offices are located at 5970 Bannantyne. He has more than 23 years of experience in holding elections and more than 7 years' experience as a director. Your employer must accord you four consecutive hours from your work in order to vote on March 26. New this year, a poster listing the names and the photos of all candidates will be distributed by the elections officer.
