Moving Ahead
If you are a compassionate, sincere person who could give one or more hours a week towards improving the quality of someone's life, the "Moving Ahead" program of the Douglas Hospital would welcome you. A few individuals who have a mental illness and who reside in our foster homes in Verdun would greatly benefit from the regular visit of a friend to help them break their isolation. They are shy and gentle individuals. You don't need any experience. For more information without obligation, call Stella at the Volunteer Department, at 514-761-6131, ext. 4106
