Every Tuesday from 1:30 to 3:30 PM, you are invited to practice your spoken French with a group of open-minded and curious women at the Centre des femmes de Verdun (Verdun women’s center). All women are welcome, free of charge. The Verdun women’s center is located at 4080 Wellington Street, office 203. For more information: 514-767-0384.
The Gospel of John
Starting on Wednesday, October 29th and every Wednesday until November 26th, from 6:45 til 9 pm, Deacon Geoffrey Chapman will be leading an exploration of the Gospel of John. Beginning with a discussion of the opening Prologue (In the beginning was the Word...), we will spend the month of November encountering some of Jesus' conversations and conflicts in John's gospel through great company, tasty cookies and tea, and the Bible. No prior reading or preparation is necessary, and anyone and everyone is welcome
Royal Canadian Legion Verdun
Reminder for the "Poppy Dance", Nov.1st (Sat). Tickets are $5 and the band is South of 40 in the main hall. Doors will at open at 7p.m and there will be door prizes to be won! On Nov.9th (Sun), the branch Remembrance Day.

Parade & Memorial service in placing the wreaths at the Verdun Cenotaph facing the City Hall. The Branch doors open at Noon and formation time at 1:45p.m. Following the ceremonies there will MUSIC from Brad and refreshments will be served. (Open House), Welcome to all!
