Every Tuesday from1:30 to 3:30 pm, you are invited to practice your spoken French with a group of open-minded and curious women at the Centre des femmes de Verdun (Verdun women’s center). Phoenix Community Ministry is an all-ages ministry taking place at All Saints Church, 7325 rue Ouimet, Crawford Park, Verdun. It is geared mostly for families but all are invited. There is a service once a month on the last Sunday at 4 pm. with music, Bible reading and prayer. Instead of a sermon we have a learning experience where all take part. It may be a craft, a scavenger hunt or discussion for the adults and a hands-on activity for the children. The service ends with a pot luck supper.

During the morning service at 11:15 am on the second and third Sundays there is Sunday school for children from 4 - 11. The Ministry also organizes day camps during the summer. This year we are going to organize a three-day camp during the Christmas break and the Spring break.

The Champlain Adult Education Centre-Verdun Access-to-Work Pavilion located at 1050 Fifth Ave. in Verdun, offers a free Job Training Program for adults with or without Secondary V.
