An invitation to the Christmas trees illumination event

Once again this year, Borough Mayor, Claude Trudel, and Council members are inviting all Verdunites to the Christmas trees illumination event in front of the Borough Hall (4555, rue de Verdun). Let us all meet on Tuesday, December 4, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and celebrate the holiday season approaching.

This friendly and fun event will be a chance for chidren and parents to salute Santa Claus and his elves, present for the occasion. To add to the festive signature of the celebration, entertainment will be featured: two dancers performing a gigue, challenges and games, plus the participation of a choir, starring students from the Verdun Elementary School, singing Christmas carols.

Singer Étienne Drapeau, whom we have seen on the popular TV show Star académie will also be our guest and will be performing two songs. The young singer who has released his first album in 2006 has many talents to his credits. The audience may have noticed his work on several TV commercials as well as seeing him appear on the popular television series “Virginie”.

Come salute our Christmas tree illumination event on December 4 and enjoy a cup of good hot chocolate! Admission free.
