Streets will be closed for the Verdun Triathlon
On Sunday, August 12
A little more than a week remains before the 10th edition of the Verdun Triathlon takes place, on August 12. With more than 500 athletes taking part, the borough will be closing a few streets from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Crawford Park and Notre Dame de la Garde sectors.
After a 750m swim, athletes will cycle a 4km trajectory (LaSalle boulevard, Fayolle Street, Champlain boulevard and Stephens Street) for a total of five times. It will be forbidden to drive or to park your car in this area. Only emergency vehicles (police, ambulance, fire trucks) will be able to travel on the reserved lane on Champlain boulevard.

The run won't cause any problems for drivers, because it will take place on the cycling path along the St. Lawrence River.
