Action Surveillance Verdun invites you to its sixth general assembly, taking place on May 30, at 7 p.m. at its new location at 3993 Wellington, between De L'Eglise and Hickson.
Action Surveillance Verdun is a non-profit organization that has as a goal to improve the quality of life for Verdun citizens, particularly in the areas of safety and crime prevention.
The public is invited to come and find out more about the organization's services and activities, as well as the plan of action from the Verdun police station, presented by Commander Serge Boulerice. It's also a great opportunity for residents to offer any suggestions to local police to improve safety in the area. The success of organizations like Action Surveillance, in crime prevention, always depends greatly on the involvement of local citizens. The public is urged to show up around 6 p.m. and enjoy some light snacks, while touring the organization's new premises. Door prizes will also be raffled off at the end of the evening, to thank people for their presence at the meeting.
