The Verdun Borough Council's next regular meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, in the Council room at Borough Hall, 4555, rue de Verdun. Residents who would like to take part in the question period need only register at the entrance to the room starting at 6:30 p.m.
The Mayor's report
At the beginning of the meeting, Borough Mayor Claude Trudel will be presenting a progress report on the past six months of his administration.
Christmas tree lighting event
In keeping with the tradition of the past few years, Borough Council members are inviting residents to come join them while the Christmas trees are being lit at Borough Hall. This event will be held before the Council meeting. We look forward to a large turnout among Verdunites starting at 5 p.m. at du Souvenir park, in front of Borough Hall. Gingerbread cookies and hot chocolate will be served. All kids please note: Santa will even be coming to visit us all… Everyone is welcome!
