The programme will feature a painting exhibit of artist Louise Larose of Aéroport Voyage, located at 3767 Wellington Street. The bookstore, Librairie de Verdun, located in 4150 Wellington Street will offer a fairy tale reading session for children, writing workshops, and the book launching of Gaël Corboz, La zone Rouge, on Friday, the 26th of September from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The Centre Musique-O-Pratique Solar of Verdun at 4080 Wellington Street is inviting the public for guided tours to the recording/rehearsal studio but visitors need to reserve in advance by calling 514 769-6515. The boutique Le Chrysanthème, at 3785 Wellington Street will offer a flower arrangement exhibit. Discover the arrangements of Nancy Dumas and come admire the beauty of flowers and fragrances on Friday, the 26th of September from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and on Saturday, the 27th of September from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
If you’re looking for exotic decor, come and learn the steps in jewellery artistic design at C. Cassia, 3753 Wellington Street. Hugo Pieters, a Dutch-Canadian, will hold an art exhibition. He uses acrylic on masonite to paint majestic and huge canvasses measuring four feet by four feet. The exhibition will be held at the Futon Mont-Royal at 4611 Wellington Street on Friday, the 26th of September from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, on Saturday, the 27th of September from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and on Sunday, the 28th of September from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm.
The photographer artist Paule Hamel will offer a session with the theme La fleur dans tous ses états (the many aspects of a flower) to be held at the Atelier floral les Quatre Saisons, 5002 Wellington Street. Another floral design show called Voyage à travers les styles (travelling across many styles) will be presented on Friday, the 26th of September from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, on Saturday, the 27th of September from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Sunday, the 28th of September from 12 noon to 5:00 pm.
At Boutique Le Touareg, 4559 Wellington Street, a documentary film on Morocco will be shown so that visitors can learn about Moroccan history and culture. There will also be a mint tea tasting session. Places are limited to 10; call to reserve, 514 766-8525.

Cultural Days at the Promenade
Promenade-Wellington will participate again this year in the Cultural Days event (Journées de la Culture) thanks to the collaboration of nine members who will be offering some activities relating to their business. Meetings, visits, exhibits and tastings of exotic products are on the cultural days programme to be held on the 26th, 27th and 28th of September.
