A beautiful summer day and a festive atmosphere are inviting families on the occasion of a special outdoor event presented by the Verdun Borough, on Friday, August 1rst, from 3 p.m to 10 p.m. at De l’Honorable George-O’Reilly Park near the Natatorium (6500, boulevard LaSalle).
Starting at 3 p.m., the super heroes theme will inspire several entertaining activities: a quiz and the 5-senses game, participation of friendly super heroes, inflatable play structures, music, make-up for kids.
At 8: 30 p.m. the outdoor stage welcomes the musicans of the band “Swing”. With their very original style, blending folklore to modernity, the duo band has been recording and performing on stage and the number of fans has been growing year after year. With songs such as “Encore une fois” where country and rock influences meet or “Belle Déboussolée”, evoking singer-songwriter La Bolduc, Swing invites us to a very inventive and dynamic performance.
