VERDUN ELEMENTARY: On Tuesday, December 4th, the school choir led by music teacher Miss Jennifer will be singing some seasonal classics in front of the Borough City hall at 6:30 p.m. during Borough festivities. They were a hit last year, so they’re back and you’re all invited to hear these great singers sing some of your favorites.

BEURLING ACADEMY

There’s a lot of stuff happening here. The 5th birthday grad raffle, in association with Verdun School news, held during the teacher interviews was a smashing success. The raffle raised over 1300 dollars for the year-end events and even enough for leadership activities which puts together events for the school. Mr. Anthony Belizzi’s ticket was the lucky one as he picked up the Grand Prize, a Delta Hotel weekend for two with Sunday Brunch atop the 30th floor. 4 other winners picked up other goodies, and the top student seller was Amanda Hughes who sold 327 tickets for $140.00 and for that work gets herself a free ticket for the grad prom. We would like to thank al those who bought raffle tickets, and don’t despair, as we have another dandy for you in February, this time with Home and School.
