The Montreal Juniors Hockey Club was active today as the QMJHL trade period is still underway.
The Montreal Juniors traded 18 year-old forward Pier-Antoine Dion (91-04-25) to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in return of 18 year-old forward Patrick Lapostolle (91-08-12), who is at his first season evolving in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Montreal also got a second round pick in 2011.
Alex Wall traded to Moncton
The Montreal Juniors Hockey Club has been active on the trade front for the last day of the trade period. The Montreal Juniors traded 19 year old defenseman Alex Wall, to the Moncton Wildcats in exchange for 16 year old Donnelly Dillon. The 6’01”, 178-pound defenseman is a native of Amherst (USA) and was Moncton’s 1st round draft pick (16th overall) at the 2009 QMJHL draft.
In the trade, the club also gave up a 3rd round pick in 2011, acquired from Lewiston, in exchange for a 1st round pick in the 2010 QMJHL Import Draft acquired from Val d’Or.
